Grinder

Every Saturday, for almost two years, Troop 111 Scouts and Dads meet at Sutherland Middle School to workout and bond together.  It’s called ‘The Grinder,’ and all members of Troop 111 are invited and welcome to attend.  Thinking that it might make a good article for Boys Life magazine, we contacted the editors.  They responded that it was a great idea and assigned a reporter and photographer to the article.  Interviews were given last month and on 28 November, a professional photographer came to the Grinder and photographed our boys in action.  Their pictures were taken during the Grinder and each boy demonstrated an exercise that was recorded for the Boys Life website.
It was great opportunity for our Scouts and Troop 111 to potentially have an impact on Boy Scouts across the nation and around the world.
