Klondike was an incredible event to experience. It was a time when you bonded with your friends and made new ones when it meant the most. We were faced with snow, rain, mud, and below freezing temperatures but we still found our way to enjoy it and make the most of what we had been given. Our clothes were soaked, our feet ached, but we excelled. We enjoyed fun learning activities provided by the incredible staff and an adrenaline filled sled race. Putting our blood sweat and tears into building that sled gave us a connection to it, pushing as hard as we could to prove our capabilities, not to the staff, but to ourselves. We were exhausted and faced with harsh conditions but we found comfort in it and with the people around us. Klondike was an incredible and unforgettable experience that we will forever hold on to.
