The Troop 111 annual beach trip moved inland this year to Holliday Lake State Park. In addition to plenty of downtime at the beach we combined the trip with a visit to Appomattox Court House to earn a History Trail patch. Earning the patch included a 5 mile walk for the scouts still looking to sign off on that First Class requirement and an hour of conservation service.
