The Troop 111 annual beach trip is moving inland this year to Holliday Lake State Park. In addition to plenty of downtime at the beach we are combining the trip with a visit to Appomattox Court House to earn a History Trail patch. Earning the patch will include a 5 mile walk for the scouts still looking to sign off on that First Class requirement and an hour of conservation service, so be sure to pack a pair of comfy walking shoes.
