The first of what is bound to be an annual event, the Woods With Merit Camporee, was an excellent first campout for many of the new scouts in the troop. The Troop 111 scouts earned seven different merit badges, Firem’n Chits and Totin’ Chips for the new scouts, an hour of service, and second place in the cooking competition with their beaver skat!
